Orchid Show 2018 - New York Botanical Garden

The orchid show is here and spring is not too far away.  This year features the famous floral artist Daniel Ost whom constructed two big "racks" and put orchids there.  One can see the orchids in the rack, but it is too far to take pictures (Please blow up this picture and you will see many orchids).  Anyhow, I manage to take some pictures to share with you.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I just found out there is an International orchid show in Tainan (3/3-3/13).  According to the video in the website, the show is pretty nice.  Well! Wait for next year.

 

The pictures were taken by a Nikon D750 camera with 24-120 mm lens.  The bokeh is OK, but not great.  I think my pictures "will" be great if I had a macro lens for the flower pictures.  Haha!
